Instructions / Equipment list

WELCOME TO THE SKI TOURING TRIP WITH ARCTIC MOUNTAIN GUIDES

The instructions on the page is a recommendation. However, we hope that customers who come to our tours will try to follow these instructions.

We strive to make our tours as safe as possible, respecting the changing snow and weather conditions. If the day's ski tour is canceled, we will try to organize another activity for the day, so that your trip is as successful as possible and you get the most out of your trip.

A few things to consider before your trip:

  • Make sure you have a valid travel insurance.

  • Please make sure your insurance covers off-piste skiing and rescue.

  • Make sure your equipment is in good condition.

  • Check the equipment list and make sure you have the necessary equipment with you when you start your trip.

  • Take care of your physical condition well in advance of your trip. Do long aerobic exercises a few times a week.

Note:

We recommend that every participant downloads the following application to their phone:

  • Hjelp 113 - application for Norway

IN ADDITION, GUIDE HAS A GPS/ SOS-TRANSMITTER !!!

By pressing the SOS-button, the transmitter sends an emergency message and location to the emergency service via satellite, even if there is no phone coverage.

Kind regards,

Arctic Mountain Guides,

Pasi Ikonen and Mika Salovaara
